Eric with Ramos Professional Drywall Repairs
Tell us a little about your Southwest Florida roots. Are you originally from the area?
I grew up in Estero and yes, I’m originally from Southwest Florida, born in Naples and raised in Lee County.
If we asked your closest friends to describe you in three words, what do you think they'd say?
They would say that I am hardworking, reliable, and motivated.
When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I always knew I wanted to build something for myself and eventually become a business owner.
Looking back, who or what in your life taught you the most about hard work growing up?
My family taught me the importance of hard work, consistency, and taking pride in what you do.
What did you do before starting this business, and how did that experience shape you?
Before fully focusing on drywall repair, I worked in different hands-on trades and learned a lot about customer service, problem solving, and the value of hard work. Those experiences helped shape how I run my business today.
Eric, do you remember your very first drywall job? What was that experience like?
Yes, I remember being nervous because I wanted everything to come out perfect. Once I finished and saw the transformation, I realized this was something I genuinely enjoyed doing.
What has helped your business grow the most so far...word of mouth, social media, or something else?
A combination of word of mouth, social media, and repeat customers has helped the most. Good work speaks for itself.
What's a skill you have that has nothing to do with drywall but still comes in handy?
Communication and problem solving definitely help a lot when managing projects and working with customers.
Tell us, what’s your favorite part of seeing a “before and after” transformation on a job?
Seeing the customer’s reaction when the job is finished. It’s satisfying taking something damaged or outdated and making it look brand new again.
Is there anything you’re a little “extra particular” about when you’re on a job?
Cleanliness and detail. I like making sure everything looks smooth, professional, and clean before leaving a job site.
What’s a normal day look like for you when you’re not working?
When I’m not working, I usually spend time with family, work on side projects, stay active, or look for new ways to grow my business.
Are you more of a morning person or a night owl?
Definitely more of a morning person.
Any hidden talents or hobbies?
I enjoy learning about business growth, marketing, and working on vehicles when I have free time.
What's helping you power through the workday? Music, podcasts, or silence?
Usually music. It helps keep the energy up throughout the day.
If you could take a full month off with zero responsibilities, what would you do?
I’d probably travel with family, relax for a little, and still spend some time planning future goals and business ideas.
What’s something people are usually surprised to learn about you?
People are usually surprised by how young I am once they see the level of professionalism and experience that I bring to jobs.
And that's the heart behind the hustle. ♡
Behind every repair, patch, and finished project is Eric, a problem solver who takes pride in his work, values his customers, and is dedicated to serving the Southwest Florida community he calls home.☺
